Finalists in the 2022 Australasian PIDA Awards

Caps & Closures thanks the AIP and the PIDA Committee for selecting our products as finalists in an amazing five categories. They are:

  1. Accessible & Inclusive Packaging Design of the Year (EzyGrip)
  2. Beverage Packaging Design of the Year (ThermoShield)
  3. Food Packaging Design of the Year (ThermoShield)
  4. Labelling & Decoration Design of the Year (IDShield)
  5. Save Food Packaging Design of the Year (ThermoShield)

This achievement shows what an Australian company can do when it focuses on innovating to improve the value of packaging and its contribution to our quality of life.

At Caps & Closures, we address the needs consumers demand. Our innovations include:

  • Accessibility for our older people and those with reduced hand strength.
  • Warning indicators for packaging contents that need suitable storage temperatures.
  • Anti-counterfeiting measures to restore consumer confidence in quality Australian products threatened by global counterfeiters.

Caps & Closures recognises that its product innovation process is based on collaborating with the best and brightest to create and develop these products.

In particular, we would like to recognise the contribution of our Caps & Closures Design Team, packaging technologist Gary White for concept-to-production support and imaging specialist Ivan Hong for developing the anti-counterfeit labelling images.

We are excited to again be among the best packaging innovators in Australia in the 2022 PIDA Awards. We wish all the finalists the very best and every success in commercialising our home-grown Australian ideas.
